Another factor that would assist to help a baby get peaceful nights during summer is cooling down of the home. Opening of the windows during the day will help to maintain the house in a less stuffy state conducive for sleep. Some parents might be concerned about the safety of their baby with their windows open; therefore, they will prefer to open the other windows instead and at the same time keeping the room of the baby open. The temperature of all the rooms in that home will be regulated as a result of leaving the windows open during the day. Giving an organic baby drinks that might help them feel less tired the following day is also encouraged.

The too high temperature of summer nights can be reduced using a fan. Some parents prefer that their child should sleep with the fan turned off. Such parents will always switch off the fan soon as the baby falls asleep. The fan can as well be kept on throughout the night so long as it is at a safer distance and rotating within a harmless speed. Sleeping with a baby inside one’s bedroom is also another good idea. Bedrooms are larger hence free circulation of air. This phenomenon makes the parent’s room quite cooler than the baby’s room.

Finally, the temperatures in a baby’s room can be reduced by using a cold towel. Temperature control is attained by hanging a cold towel inside the baby’s room. This will happen because the air in the room will be moisturized by the cold towels and therefore leading to a decrease in the temperatures. Sheets can be used too. Instead of using a wet towel or sheet, they can be frozen as well. This will have the same effect as that of a wet towel but only for longer.
